Hi! Call me Spex. I live in Philly but am from the bluegrass. I was trained as an engineer and a classicist, but the world is full of wonders so my interests are quite varied!

This site serves as an outlet for all the atoms of insanity bouncing around in my head – check out my blog for some of that. I don’t trust centralized social media to keep that stuff up anymore, so I figured I’d rather pay for my own website instead. You may see me talking about arts, humanities, culture, and STEM stuff, but I’m not limited to that. I try not to get too personal or talk too much about current events for levity’s sake, but that’s not a settled rule.

I don’t have a specific posting schedule – I’ll post whenever a brain cell hits the corner of my skull like the DVD logo in the screensaver.
